We are sensitive to the fact that it is a challenging time for families (and that reassurance and involvement is of great significance). It is our job to reassure and involve you in every step of the way.
Emphasis is placed on making everyone feel welcome and fully informed at all times. There are social areas that have activities for grandchildren, small function spaces for family gatherings and catering on site to provide for special occasions.
Much loved family pets are even welcome to visit (subject to allergies).
We host frequent residents and relatives meetings, to share ideas and experiences, make suggestions and get to know friends and family members. Everyone is warmly welcomed to ensure family and friends are able to visit in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.
Warm, Friendly Social Areas
There are warm and friendly social areas to receive guests or interact with fellow residents or quiet rooms for privacy and tranquillity. Also a delightful, well established garden for those who like to garden or simply enjoy the sun with friends and family.
Fresh, Nutritious Food
Our fresh ingredients menu is prepared daily by our highly trained and experienced chefs on the premises and a broad selection of tastes and choices are well catered for. Menus are continually changing and designed to meet dietary needs of individuals. Residents are invited to dine with others or they can choose to eat in the privacy of their own rooms.
Garden
Our garden is a beautifully designed space which offers a tranquil respite from the thriving communities at Brabourne Care Centre and also presents an ideal environment for those who wish to maintain their interests in horticulture and many other aspects of outdoor activities. Our Residents quieter moments sitting out enjoying both the sunshine and the fresh air.
Our garden provides a selection of paths, walkways and seating areas which promote mobility within a comfortable space, promoting re-enablement and social engagement via our wellbeing and catering events.

Hair Salon
We are delighted to offer a professional hair dressing service within our elegant Hair Salon. Weekly visit to the Hair Salon forms a very important part of a persons self confidence whilst encouraging the development of social communities within a care setting. We have our very own employed Hairdressing Stylists on site who are able to offer a full range of styles and treatments.
So for those of you who have missed being able to visit your local hairdresser as often as you would have wished or alternatively, if continuing with your weekly routines regarding beauty and treatments is an important part of your wellbeing, rest assured we can offer you these services within our professional salon.

Bright, Comfortable Rooms
Each room is light and modern with comfortable furnishings and en-suite facilities. Naturally bright rooms painted in soothing colours and treasured personal touches brought from home make the environment even more pleasing and familiar. Privacy is respected and independence positively encouraged, as are any hobbies or interests that can be shared. We do our utmost to accommodate individual requests for personal living preferences.

Social Therapies
A dedicated team of enthusiastic individuals organise a varied range of social and leisure activities that cater to different tastes. We host quiz afternoons, musical entertainment, craft events, language classes and much more. Relax in a sunny area in the garden and enjoy outdoor pursuits or attend an activity session in one of our dedicated areas. Relax and read a book, play a competitive game of cards, or watch grandchildren play board games and enjoy the smile on their faces. Appreciate live music and reminisce about days gone by. Enjoy sampling homemade cakes, afternoon high-tea and delicious cuisine, freshly created by our Head Chef and our talented Hospitality team.
Respecting Individuality
At Brabourne Care Centre we understand and respect that not everybody wishes to join in with activities, and we can ensure that residents are given the opportunity to engage in activities from the privacy of their own room. If required, we can provide privacy without isolation.
Spiritual care and leadership is available and regular celebrations take place for saints days etc, within the centre. Regular services are held and representatives from a variety of denominations visit the Centre.
Brabourne Care Centre ensures residents continue enjoying life’s little pleasures. An on-site hair salon enables residents to maintain pride in their appearance at their own convenience as well as providing a relaxed and enjoyable activity.
